Hope the book comes along well, and soon. Thanks for your efforts. Back many years ago, 1972-73 time, I owned number 1578. What a fantastic gun. Wish I still had it. Mack Bolen, "The Executioner", made it sing in his adventure books. And, while I never used it for that kind of action, it was truly a wonder to own and shoot. I have owned my wmr amt auto mag for several years. It likes win.22 mag ammo by far. Had it to the gunsmith for a check up and checked out very good. Put several hundred rounds thru it & it still shoots great. It can even penetrate a 1/2 in. steel pipe (at least) half way clean. It was used when I bought it. Paid $300 even. Is this a good deal? On the left side of the frame is stamped Covina.CA. amt w/logo on the right side of the frame is stamped the letter M.W/Serial No. # 17 January 2009 - Lockport, IL
